A: Guests usually work in pairs, sharing ingredients and tools — just like in a real French kitchen!Q: Are the workshops hands-on or demonstration-style?
A: They are entirely hands-on. You’ll be flipping, folding, whisking, and tasting from start to finish. -
Are workshops taught in French or English?
Workshops are conducted in English, or in French (upon request)Do I need to speak French to participate in a full immersion French workshop?
YES! Those workshops are best for intermediate to advance speakers but we do adapt to the level as needed.What does a “French immersion” workshop mean?
During immersion workshops, French is used naturally throughout the class — from greetings to cooking terms — allowing you to experience both the language and the culinary culture at once. -
How do I book a private workshop?
You can book by filling out the contact form on this website. I’ll follow up to confirm your date, menu, and any special requests.How far in advance should I book?
I recommend booking at least 2–3 weeks in advance to secure your preferred date.Q: Do you require a deposit to reserve a date?
A: No deposit is required. Full payment is due on the booking day to secure your workshop.What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
Cancellations made at least 48h in advance can be rescheduled or refunded. Cancellations with less than 48h notice are non-refundable, but I’ll always do my best to accommodate a new date. -
Q: Do you provide the ingredients and equipment for the private workshops?
A: Yes, ingredients and equipment are provided.Q: Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
A: Yes, I can adapt some recipes (but not all) to be gluten-free or vegetarian, upon request. Please mention any dietary needs when booking.Q: Are your recipes suitable for beginners?
A: Absolutely. My workshops are designed for all levels — from those who’ve never made a crêpe to confident home cooks looking to refine their technique.Q: Will we get the recipes after the class?
A: Yes! You’ll receive a digital recipe packet after your workshop so you can recreate your dishes at home. -
Q: Where are the private workshops held?
A: Workshops take place at L’Atelier at the French Fold unless specified otherwise in the description of the workshop. It’s a relaxed, home-based experience that makes learning personal and fun.Q: Can you come to my home or a rented kitchen?
A: I may be able to come to your location. It would need to be discussed further.
