In this workshop, teens will step into the world of French home cooking — the kind of cozy, comforting food you'd find simmering in a French kitchen on a fall evening. We'll bake, sauté, layer, and assemble a full home-style menu, then sit down together to enjoy it.
Limited to 8 students to keep this fully hands-on.
What's on the menu:
Gougères — warm, cheesy choux pastry puffs, the classic French apéritif bite
Hachis Parmentier — France's answer to shepherd's pie, tender seasoned beef layered under a golden, buttery mashed potato crust
Tarte Fine aux Pommes — a thin, elegant French apple tart with crisp pastry and delicately layered apple slices
This class is all about building real technique — choux pastry, a proper mash, and rolling out a rustic tart — perfect for growing confidence in the kitchen as the weather turns cozy.
